Due to personal over zealousness to make a good impression at my job, I have taken it upon myself to sponsor a Jane Austen program at my library. little did i know that i would soon have over a hundred voice mails from women longing to come drink tea, play trivia games, and watch a Jane Austen movie. little did i know, that i would soon be loosing sleep as i lie a wake in bed picking my brain for long stored memories of her books. i must admit that i started reading Jane Austen when i was in 9th grade. that year, i read all of her books. i remember particularly liking Pride and Prejudice and Emma. i have since read P & P countless times and watched just about every movie version/tv special that i can get my hands on. what woman would not long to be Elizabeth Bennet?

In preperation for “An Afternoon with Jane” i shall attempt to reread and write about all of Austen’s major works.

This blog was first created as part of staff exercise at a Fish party. I have never blogged before, i don’t keep much of a journal, and a rarely update my facebook page. Over all i would consider myself to be a bad Internet person except for my usually good in game sense of direction. Also important to know: i cant spell. my grammar is typically relatively bad, but then again, i blame that on growing up a southerner.
